What happens in the film?
The pit crew prepares the red Sulky. Ralf is at the wheel; a golden cat already sits on his right as co-driver. They launch. A ball of yarn is thrown out and tangles up a rival. Ralf laughs. A shortcut through a farm and a pit stop for Bavarian meatloaf follow. The Sulky flies in slow motion, lands at speed, overtakes and crosses the finish line on its rear wheels. Marga waves a chequered flag.
The end cards explain: the characters and race are fictional and AI-generated, but the real Sulky belongs to CAZ. They invite viewers to get in touch about a test drive and introduce CAZ’s websites, software and trade fair films.
YES, WE REALLY OWN IT
The film is AI.
The Sulky is real.
This red Casalini Sulky actually belongs to us. For the film, we gave it a fictional racing team, a golden feline co-driver and a generous helping of imagination.
The characters and racing stunts were created with AI. The story, shot selection, editing, typography and final soundtrack turn the individual scenes into our own CAZ short film.
