Background
P&M Präsentation und Medientechnik GmbH, based in Haigerloch, has created physical brand environments since 1975. Its work spans exhibition stand construction, print, display systems, NoiseControl and interior fit-out, supported by its own workshops and production facilities. The website needed to make this range understandable to international exhibition clients and visitors looking for printing, a display system or a solution for their premises. P&M also has a distinctive story to tell: its yellow Futuro house has been part of the company for decades.
The challenge
The corporate website had to bring together a broad service portfolio, project photography and an extensive body of existing content. Its design needed to reflect P&M’s spatial work while giving visitors clear routes to relevant services. German and English required dedicated pages and consistent navigation. Enquiries also needed to accommodate different starting points, from an initial idea to an exhibition stand with a defined date, floor area and budget. Existing photographs of varying sizes and proportions had to remain useful within the new presentation.
Our solution
CAZ developed the concept, design and website as one coherent project. Red accents, dark surfaces, large typography and architectural drawing details carry the identity into the interface. An animated wireframe exhibition stand, dimension lines and perspective treatments reflect the company’s work. Each of the five service divisions receives its own entry point and detailed pages. An interactive sequence explains nine stages of exhibition stand construction, from consultation to storage. Galleries present original project photographs with captions and a keyboard-operated enlarged view. A four-step enquiry assistant guides visitors through their needs, project, scope and contact details. The implementation includes responsive image sizes, locally hosted fonts, structured search data and dedicated language URLs. Motion adapts to the visitor’s reduced-motion preference. Separate content files and reusable templates provide a practical foundation for future additions.
A special detail
The company story has its own place, covering its founder, workshops and Futuro house. Original photographs document the house’s appearance at Milan Design Week 2017. Together, these elements explain P&M’s services and give the business a recognisable identity. A complete handover package brings together the website, editable source files and documentation for its continued maintenance.
The outcome
