Background
A small private idea from Inzell became a website designed to spark curiosity. Altes Schloss is a playful in-house CAZ Labs project: a personal invitation with deliberately understated staging.
The challenge
The story relies on visitors forming their own mental picture. Design, images and copy must preserve the reveal, while keeping the tour, local information and contact easy to find.
Our solution
The opening combines an actual photograph of Inzell with classical typography. Visitors choose to start a five-stop tour and move forwards or backwards at their own pace. German and Bavarian narration are available. The reveal and closer object view only appear following deliberate interaction.
A special detail
A journal adds ideas for exploring Inzell and its surroundings. CAZcity, the experience planet Arcadia and Portalnetz lead visitors to the website. This in-house project demonstrates ideas, narrative pacing and interactive web design; it is not an official tourism offering.
